CM Laptop Scheme registration Latest Updates

In recent Honhaar Scholorship ceremony in Punjab College Maryam Nawaz shared  some important news about the starting date of laptop distribution.She highlighted the importance of Honhaar Scholorship and Laptop Scheme. The event was mainly focused on Honhaar Scholorship but CM Punjab laptop scheme was also discussed.

Laptop Scheme Registration

According to recent updates through Maryam Nawaz ceremony in Punjab College, she stated that they are going to start Laptop Scheme from January 2025 and the distribution will complete within 1 Month and 20 days.

But registration date is still not clear.CM Laptop scheme registration also can start from 15 December 2024 and according to Maryam Nawaz the will start the distribution from January 2025 after the 15 days gap of registration

Eligibility Criteria 

• All students from the selected universities and colleges will be eligible (only Punjab)
• Position holders in Matric and FSc will also get laptops (not clear that from which year position holders and how many positions)

Selection Criteria 

Universities Students will be selected on bases of their CGPA. Specific Numbers of laptop will be allocated to each department and those laptops will be given to the top performors among the current semester students

Which Laptop will be given?

Core i7 13 Gen Laptops

I think they will provide us following laptops

• Core i7 13 Gen 
• Lenovo
• 16 GB ram
• 256 GB ssd
• 13-15 inch display
• 4-6 GB graphics memory
• (expected integrated graphics Not dedicated graphics)
